Caroline Kamakil joined RefugePoint in September 2015. She first joined as a Program Assistant and thereafter progressed to the role of a Social Worker. Kamakil previously served with Terre Des Homes as Psychosocial Counselor during an emergency project in North Eastern Kenya reaching a refugee host community with integrated child protection services. She chaired the child protection policy committee at the field level and sensitized members of staff on working with children. Caroline worked with Handicap International as the HIV Project Officer for a period of five years.
