Clotilda joined RefugePoint in January 2007 as a social worker. She later progressed to the role of a Community Service Manager in 2008 where she worked with vulnerable urban refugee populations within Nairobi. In her current role as the Senior Counselor, she oversees counseling program activities, and engages clients in individual, therapy and group counseling sessions. Clotilda and her team also deliver life skills training to clients. Clotilda has years of experience working with refugee populations. Prior to joining RefugePoint, she worked in Kakuma refugee camp for three years as a counselor with JRS. Clotilda holds a higher diploma in Psychological Counseling from Kenya Institute of Professional Counseling, a diploma in Social Work, and a certificate in Play and Art Therapy.
