Grace joined RefugePoint in June 2013, as a Child Protection Officer and most recently she doubles as a Social Worker. Prior to that, she worked for Save the Children as a Best Interest Determination Officer, at the Dadaab Refugee Camp. She has also worked with GOAL Ireland as an Education Officer and later as a Child Protection Officer in Nairobi. Coming from a social work background (from the University of Nairobi), she is able to identify and assess children with protection concerns as well as use her social work skills to equip the children’s caregivers with socio- economic coping skills.
