Martin Irungu joined RefugePoint in September 2016 as the Senior Officer, Community Outreach. He coordinates and oversees outreach to urban refugees. Martin previously worked with Empserve Kenya as a Program Co-ordinator with a key role in community mobilization, advocacy and training. At EmPserve Kenya, he initiated Community Leaders Volunteer Program (CLVP), aimed at empowering community volunteers to support program implementation at the grassroots. Martin is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Community Resource Management at Kenyatta University.
