RefugePoint routinely participates in meetings with key international partners in an effort to improve global refugee protection systems. Most recently, RefugePoint and our partners have been addressing the growing crisis for refugee children in Africa. According to the UNHCR, minors now account for more than half of the 2.5 million refugees in Africa and yet they are among the least protected. To this end, RefugePoint is exploring solutions for these vulnerable refugee children.
RefugePoint collaborates often with numerous non-governmental organizations based in the U.S. and in Africa and in particular the The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and The U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration. RefugePoint also serves on the Refugee Council U.S.A.
