As the Urban Program Coordinator, Paul oversees network and partnership building while managing programs in the Nairobi office. Prior to joining RefugePoint, Paul coordinated the urban refugee program for the German International Cooperation (GIZ) and Center for Domestic Training and Development (CDTC). He has also worked at UNHCR dealing with education for urban refugees. In addition to this, he has project management experience with a keen interest in Monitoring & Evaluation having worked in Ethiopia and Uganda in this capacity. Uniquely, Paul is a published author as he co-authored a guidance and counseling handbook for teachers which was published by the Kenya Institute for Curriculum Development. Paul is a holder of a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the United States International University (USIU), Kenya. When he is not working to help the most vulnerable refugees, he loves to play with his children and mentor youth.
