Rebecca joined RefugePoint in 2011 as a Community Health Nurse. In 2016, her role transitioned to an IART Associate where she now provides support to community health workers, coordinates data analysis and conducts community outreaches. Rebecca is passionate about providing aid to vulnerable populations as in her free time she loves to volunteer as a trainer for aid workers on needs assessment and humanitarian response. Most of Rebecca’s career has been heavily related to working with refugees as she previously worked as a nurse to refugees. She hold a Masters of Science in Community Health and Nursing from Great Lakes University of Kisumu and a Diploma in Community Health Nursing.
