Walter Njoroge Gitau joined RefugePoint in June, 2016 as the Senior Officer, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting. Walter has a wealth of experiencing in monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and he will be running RefugePoint’s evaluation and reporting activities. Since graduating with his MA Economics, Walter has committed his career to nonprofits working to empower vulnerable populations particularly refugees and displaced persons in Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan. He most recently worked with Good Neighbors international in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Northern Kenya, and prior to that worked with Jesuit Refugee Services in South Sudan, among other organizations. He loves conversations, and enjoys thrilling wild adventures.
